there's a Green Day fan who starts a band somewhere
and I wish I didn't care,
but if I hear another bad Blink 182 cover,
that is it, I'll loose my shit and I will walk right out the door.
I don't understand what music's for if not expression
and I try hard not to question all these kids and their intentions
I don't want to sound lame but they all sound the fucking same
Will someone please tell them to cover something other than Greenday
Or here’s a thought, instead of knocking off your favorite band,
Just pick up a fucking pen, God forbid you take a stand and
your shirt, it reads: support the local music scene
But after you’re done playing you are no where to be seen
I don’t mean to be mean or obscene or even rude
